On Friday evening, our Ladies put up a strong fight and came away with a very well earned runners up prize.

On Saturday evening, our Mixed 3 had a tough match and played brilliantly to beat Beags Beo on sets. A very sweet victory.

Well done to our Mixed Division 10 CHAMPS and Ladies Division 7 RUNNERS UP.

It was a nail biter from start to finish. Our ladies kept us in it with solid wins in the singles and a doubles, but going into the mixed matches 2-4 down, we felt a bit like the Last Samurais.
We somehow held them off to win all 3, followed by squeals of delight the likes of which I’ve never heard. Victory was just about as sweet as Ann’s delicious pavlova.

So, we are very happy to have 3 teams in the Semis (at Whitehall Road) :

Thursday – 9pm (2nd feb) our Ladies 2 are playing St Raphaelas
Friday – 7pm (3rd feb) our Mixed 1 are playing Beag’s Beo
Saturday – 5pm (4th feb) our Mixed 10 are playing Danum

Good Luck to our Teams.

And if you can make it down to give your noisy support for those matches, it really does help and is always appreciated.

We invite all beginners who have recently completed a beginners course to come along to one or both of these Open Nights, after which 2 to 4 players will be offered membership at our club.

These will be social memberships, offering you the chance to practice 3 nights a week in a competitive league playing club. After this season, if you are happy to continue with our club, you will be eligible for team selection.

St Judes is a well established club with a very successful history in Dublin & District Leagues & Cups. Our teams last season ranged between Division 4 and 7.
We are a progressive club with a good club atmosphere, playing 3 nights a week – Monday, Wednesday and Thursday, between 9pm and 11pm.
We are located in St Judes GAA Club, Wellington Lane, Templeogue. Facilities include: hall with 2 courts, good showers and the pub upstairs is great.

Open Night Registration

Wednesday the 24th of August – 9pm
